We realize sales and technical training are crucial to help you maintain your competitive edge. First Horizon University is our state-of-the-art corporate training facility. The University offers the following curriculum for both new and experienced Relationship Managers:
- College of Loan Origination: provides new Relationship Managers, up to one year of experience, with the information and selling skills needed to gain a six-month lead advantage over on-the-job training. Graduates will be able to produce profitable business faster, generating as much as 20% more loan production in their first 12 months than other Relationship Managers.
- Master's Program: designed to help newly hired Relationship Managers, with one or more years of experience, get off to a faster start at First Horizon. Seasoned originators will develop extensive knowledge of the company and its tools. Understanding the intricacies of First Horizon gives originators the confidence they need to ramp up profits.
- Regional Product Specialists: a network of product trainers developed to provide personal product training in each region. The specialist also helps Relationship Managers with "what if" loan scenarios and directs them to the most suitable product for the borrower.
- Circle of Excellence: this program matches company leaders with their team members in a one-year coaching relationship. Team leaders are trained to be the best possible leader and coach they can be. Managers and interested team members have one-on-one bi-weekly 30-minute coaching sessions designed to help each member grow both professionally and personally.
- Seminars and Workshops: First Horizon University also offers a variety of 1/2 day and full day workshops delivered on a branch and regional level. Topics include: The Power to Perform, Selling to Realtors Successfully, Working Around the Competition and more.
