My poor experience was entirely unrelated to Karen Hackney, if it wasn't for her at the end I would've pulled out of this process and initiated it with a different lender. I was uninformed and improperly educated from the previous loan officer assigned to me prior to Karen. He misguided me and didn't prepare me properly. The approval process was an absolute nightmare and I was blindsided on a regular basis and I had to make multiple phone calls and emails to get things done in a timely manner. And lastly it was days before closing that I was blindsided again with the reserve funds. If it wasn't for Karen taking over my loan and tirelessly working to clean up the previous mess this would not have been made possible. Karen was wonderful and saved the day, but everyone else involved was beyond subpar and incredibly unorganized. Thanks to Karen I am in a dream home and able to start the next chapter of my life as a doctor. I'm very thankful that she took the time to properly educate me and prepare me for the first time home buying process.
