    When the unexpected occurs, an effective business continuity and disaster recovery program is essential in ensuring the continuation of critical business functions and uninterrupted access.

    Here’s how to prepare:

    • Identify weaknesses and make adjustments before disaster strikes
    • Create a disaster recovery plan or review your existing plan
    • Exchange associate cell phone numbers and email addresses
    • Document bank contact information in a location separate from your office
    • Designate associates who can work remotely and test remote access to your company network and online banking
    • Enable mobile access for online banking to:
    • Set up telephone wire capabilities
    • Consider initiating future-dated ACH and wire payments by changing the effective date
    • Enroll in eStatements
    • Document and plan to meet key deadlines
