Getting started with Digital Banking

All First Horizon former SunTrust customers who use Digital Banking are already enrolled in our platform. No need to reenroll. You just need to log in either online or by using a mobile device. To become familiar with our Digital Banking tools, view demos here and use these tips as you get started:

  • User ID: Your User ID did not change, unless you were notified otherwise.  
    • If it was necessary for your SunTrust User ID to be changed, you should have received an email from First Horizon about this change on Sunday, July 19. Please review your emails to find the notification, so you can get started.
    • If you need to recover your SunTrust User ID, click here.
  • Password: A temporary password was emailed to you on Sunday, July 19, 2020, from First Horizon Bank. Please locate this email for reference when logging in (the subject line was “Time to log in and start using Digital Banking”).
    • If you need to reset your password, click here. Once you enter your User ID, select ‘forgot password’ link. Follow the prompts on the screen to receive a temporary access code.

When setting passwords: 

Former SunTrust password:
Remember to use the temporary password provided to log in for the first time, not your former SunTrust password.

Letters vs. numbers:
As you type in your password, pay close attention to the capital letter O versus the number 0, and the capital letter I versus the number 1.

Setting up new password:
When prompted to set up your new password, it’s important to select a new password that meets all the requirements, including at least three of the following: digits, lower case letters, upper case letters and symbols (!@#$%^*()_+]=?-\/:). It cannot contain sensitive data (name, User ID, etc.) spaces, or any of the last five passwords used.

One-time passcode:
We will send this passcode to the phone number and email associated with your account to initiate the reset password process.

  • Enhancing security:  On your initial visit to Digital Banking, you will be asked to answer a series of four questions that will later help us authenticate your account in case you lose or can’t remember your log-in credentials. If you do not know the answer to the question asked, you may select a different question from the drop-down menu.
  • SunTrust History:
    • Any existing payee and payment or transfer scheduled to occur after July 17, 2020, transferred to First Horizon, with a few exceptions. Take a minute to review your payment dates and payee information to ensure the information transferred correctly. Specific details are in Welcome Booklets found in the Knowledge Hub or download your version now: Consumer Customers (pg. 7), Small Business Customers (pg. 8), and Business Customers (pg. 11).
    • Six months of payment history is available.
    • Should you need access to previous SunTrust transaction history, account data, or statements, contact First Horizon Customer Service at 866-229-0840 to open a research request.
