In the initial stage, there were multiple requests for previously delivered (sensitive) documents from multiple sources. After so many years of expended effort to keep personal data safe/secure, I have no idea who has what now (pay stubs, SSN, etc) due to the frequent transmission of information previously supplied. Mid-stage, I was required to sign multiple versions of a loan proposal that changed rates, terms, and requirements. Oh, and RESUBMIT items that were deemed vital for approval in the first place. Later stage, there seemed to be a lot of last-minute documentation needs AFTER the loan was approved (?) making it appear as though the underwriter was continuously reconsidering issuing the loan. End stage, there was some variability in the amount due at closing (literally changed daily). > 65% increase at closing noted on DAY BEFORE closing; and after multiple loan documents (previously noted) indicated differently.
