Strong, vibrant communities allow financial services companies to thrive. At First Horizon, volunteerism is a critical part of our community investment strategy and we actively encourage employees to explore and participate in community service opportunities.
To support our employee volunteers who donate thousands of hours of community service every year, we have both our leadership grants and matching gifts programs.
Employee Leadership Grants
To encourage employees to become volunteer leaders, we offer leadership grants to support and reward the organizations our employees serve. This program allows employee leaders to request $500 or $1,000 annually for their favorite nonprofits from First Horizon Foundation.
Employee Matching Gifts
We seek to focus our corporate contributions on the tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations that matter most to our employees, as well as to honor the charitable donations our employees give out-of-pocket. Our Foundation matches employee gifts from $100 and $2,000 to eligible organizations at 50 cents on the dollar.
