Anthony Restel

Anthony Restel serves as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer of First Horizon Bank. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the bank’s Commercial and Consumer Banking segments, driving growth and operational excellence across the institution’s expansive multi-state footprint.

Prior to his current appointment, Restel served as President, Regional Banking. He also held the role of Chief Operating Officer, leading cross-functional teams focused on strategic technology adoption, risk management and business process optimization where he played a key role in the successful integration following the merger of IBERIABANK and First Horizon in 2020.

Restel spent 19 years at IBERIABANK in roles including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Credit Officer and Treasurer, where he was responsible for finance and accounting, technology and strategic planning. As an executive at IBERIABANK, he was involved in a broad range of initiatives, including major acquisitions, digital transformation projects and large-scale operational integrations.

Restel holds a Master of Business Administration degree and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Orleans. He is recognized as a collaborative leader who fosters high-performing teams with an unwavering commitment to client service.
