First Horizon Bank UT Debit Card Design Contest Official Rules

 

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT OF ANY KIND OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP NECESSARY.  A PURCHASE, PAYMENT OR BANKING RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  ALL ENTRIES HAVE AN EQUAL CHANCE OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility.  This Vols Visa® Debit Card design contest (the “Contest”) is open to all legal U.S. residents of Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except: associates, agents and directors of First Horizon Bank, as well as its distributing, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family members (defined as spouses, children, parents, siblings and in-laws) and persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to participate or win.  The Contest is void where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state and local laws. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 

  2. Sponsor: The Sponsor of this Contest is First Horizon Bank, 165 Madison Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38103 (“First Horizon Bank”).

  3. Timing:  The Contest begins on Saturday, October 17, 2020 and ends on Saturday, December 5, 2020 (the “Contest Period”). Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among eligible entries received and combined during the Contest Period. 

  4. How to Enter:   During the Contest Period, you can register for the Contest online by visiting the First Horizon Bank Website at www.firsthorizon.com/vols and voting on the debit card design. You will be asked to complete and submit the Contest registration form, which will require you to supply your first and last name, city, state, email address and telephone number.  You will receive one (1) entry into the Contest upon your submission of the Contest registration. 

    Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address.
      Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s entries and that entrant may be disqualified.  Entries that have been generated by a script or by an automated method will be deemed void. 

  5. Determination of Winners. First Horizon Bank will randomly choose one weekly winner beginning on October 28, 2020 With the last winner being drawn on November 23rd. Each winner may be required to provide his/her Social Security Number for tax reporting purposes, and to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 and any additional documents verifying your eligibility. If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the W-9 Form, or the prize is returned as undeliverable, as applicable, the winner forfeits the prize. In the event of non-compliance with any requirements herein, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Unclaimed prizes and/or forfeited prizes may not be awarded. 

  6. Prizes.  The Grand Prize winner shall receive two (2) Tennessee vs Florida Game Tickets scheduled for December 5, 2020.  Weekly prize winners may receive one of the following items: an official University of Tennessee® coaches polo from Nike®; a full sized autographed Jeremy Pruitt football; a full sized autographed Rick Barnes basketball; or a full sized autographed Kelly Harper basketball.  All aspects of the prize will be determined by First Horizon Bank in its sole discretion. No substitution, transfer, assignment or cash equivalent for the prize shall be made.  Any depictions of the prize are for illustrative purposes and prize is subject to availability.

  7. Taxes.  Federal, state, and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner.  An IRS Form 1099 may be issued to each winner for the value of the prize received.

  8. Release.  By entering, each entrant agrees to discharge, release and hold harmless First Horizon Bank, and each of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of its respective directors, officers, associates, and agents from any and all liability, claims, losses, damages, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.  Acceptance of prize shall constitute the winner’s agreement and understanding that First Horizon Bank has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or mechanical condition.     
  9. General Terms.  First Horizon Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond First Horizon Bank’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper function of the Contest.   First Horizon Bank is not responsible for any lost, late, incorrect, inaccurate, undelivered, damaged, or delayed entries, whether caused by an entrant or any other technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest and the processing of entries.  If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise destroyed or corrupted as a result of First Horizon Bank’s actions, the entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest, if it is possible. 

    First Horizon Bank
    reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Contest Rules or in any other disruptive manner.  Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and First Horizon Bank reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  First Horizon Bank’s failure to enforce any term of these Contest Rules shall not constitute a waiver. 

  10. Publicity.  Each entrant grants First Horizon Bank, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, licensees, assigns and suppliers, the absolute right and permission to use his/her entry, name, address (city and state), photograph, likeness, biographical information, statement and voice (including, without limitation, any audio or video of him/her) in perpetuity for trade, advertising, promotional, publicity and/or any other purposes in all forms of media now or hereafter known (including, without limitation, print, broadcast and Internet) without future notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.   Each entrant waives the right to approve the finished product and agrees that First Horizon Bank is not responsible for any publishing errors caused by First Horizon Bank or its media outlets. 

  11. Winner’s List.  For a winner list send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to First Horizon Bank, Attn: Vols Debit Card Sweepstakes Winner List, 800 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37929. The Vols Debit Card Design Consent must be mentioned in the request. The request must be received within 6 months after November 20, 2020.

  12. Privacy Policy.  First Horizon Bank will consider all information submitted by entrants to be confidential and subject to First Horizon Bank's Privacy Policy which may be viewed be visiting www.firsthorizon.com and linking to the Privacy Policy.
