What's changing – and what's not

We haven’t been bought or sold. This transformation is about working to make what we do for you even better. So as we move to First Horizon, there’s not much you need to do. Mostly, just things to keep in mind.

What's Not Changing

  • Account numbers
  • Routing Numbers
  • Auto payments/credits
  • Checks*
  • Credit Card*
  • Debit Cards*
  • Phone numbers**

What's Changing

Website addresses

Our websites at firsttennessee.com, capitalbank-us.com, ftbadvisors.com and ftnfinancial.com have new web addresses. After converting to First Horizon, the old website addresses redirect to our new sites.

Business Mobile app

The existing First Tennessee app has been rebranded to First Horizon and the current Capital Bank app will be discontinued. First Tennessee users' application has been automatically updated (if phone is set to auto-update). Capital Bank users will need to download the new First Horizon app.

Personal Mobile app

The existing First Tennessee app will be rebranded to First Horizon and the current Capital Bank app will be discontinued. For First Tennessee users, your app will automatically update to the First Horizon version if you have application updates enabled. If not, you will be prompted to update your mobile app. Capital Bank users will need to download the new First Horizon app.

Credit Bureau reporting name

As you monitor your credit report, please note that our credit bureau reporting name has changed to FrstHrznBk. Don't be alarmed if you see this name appear on your report.

Email communications

You will begin seeing email communication come from @firsthorizon.com now that our new brand has launched.

Payee names

If you have set up any First Tennessee or Capital Bank payments for loans or credit cards, you may notice that the name of these payees has been updated to First Horizon. (Ex: First Tennessee Installment loan now appears as First Horizon Installment loan.) There's nothing you need to do.

We want to hear from you.

If you have questions, send them to customerservice@firsthorizon.com

* Once the new brand actually goes into effect, your current cards and checks will still be fine to use. Once a card comes up for expiration, post brand change, or you get low on checks and need to reorder, the new assets would be in the First Horizon brand. The new brand will take effect over the weekend of October 25–27.

** Many phone numbers will stay the same. If a number changes, you can still dial the old number and it will redirect to the new one for a period of time.
