Only one problem. All along we were getting the thirty year fixed product as everyone new then a couple of days before closing after we were approved, we were told that to get the 30 year fixed we had to place $1,000,000 with first horizon to secure the 40 year fixed . Well by then, it was too late to find another lending source so we just sccepted another first horizon product it may have been unintentional but the bait and switch still perturbs me . Kori was great as usual… Our loan process was unique and timing wasn’t on our side, so we had to wait til our home sale in order to vet in the new one. Because iof the time it took the only thing I wish is that we knew that we were going to have to do some things over in the process. That was mainly due to the underwriter's expectation

These kind of processes I don't look forward to, but they are a must. Overall, this experience was a success. A big part of that had to do with the efforts and communication I received from Mrs. Rooney. She was excellent with keeping me informed, getting follow up items and staying on top of email chains in a timely matter. Mrs. Rooney also went above and beyond giving recommendations with new property insurance. She was also good at cleaning up my messes of getting my personal information entered as it should be when needed. Instead of working with First Horizon, I felt like I was working with Rooney Horizon Bank....which is a good thing.
